How to Transmit Messages via WSN in a Hostile Environment Marek Klonowski, Michal Koza, Miroslaw Kutylowski Wroclaw University of Technology Wireless sensor networks might be used for security purposes - they enable fast deploying of a network almost anywhere - regardless of environment conditions. In particular, they can be used in a battlefield, the luck of wires as well as high degree of freedom for devices location make them quite robust against attacks. In this paper we present a method for encrypting and routing messages in such a network. The protocol depends heavily on the assumption that an adversary may find easily some of the sensors and seize control over them, but it is quite hard for him to find all of them quickly. We propose it as adversary model for networks of this kind.
