An update due to the epidemic situation:

• each participant should prepare notes for his presentation,
• the notes have to be sent to me mid April as a pdf file,
• the notes should correspond to what a person listening to a (regular) university lecture writes down having in mind that the stuff from the lecture will be the subject of an exam,
• the notes should be understandable but as concise as possible; everything that is not a crucial issue has to be eliminated,
• do not spent too much time on nice formatting of the notes, the most important issue is what to present, which are the key findings to be learnt by the seminar participants,
• the size of the notes: please check your notes from a typical lecture that you have attended.

Seminar idea:

• each student presents a self-contained talk (lecture) on a chosen topic
• the talk has to present the current state-of-the-art
• slides are not required (even are not recommended, except for pictures, illustration material, etc.)
• expected time of the presentation: 2x45 minutes

Evaluation criteria:

• choice of the material to be presented (core issues found and explained)
• quality of presentation (clear argument, elimination of unnecessary details, ...)
• added value for the listeners
