Program

The seminar is devoted to design and implementation of a few mechanism for electronic identity cards.
The solution has to implement the authentication mechanism according to specification of Bundesamt fuer Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik according to the report BSI-TR-03110 .

Requirements:

the student group is required to provide a complete (toy) solution containing:

business analysis
plan of the system
implementation on a simulator (cards) and a server with a crypto accelerator
efficiency tests
documentation
presentation materials

Goals:

train all stages/elements of developing a system
train project management, splitting the work,
