Mirosław Kutyłowski - Professor of Computer Science at Wroclaw University of Technology, Head of Cryptology Department at NASK - National Research Institute
This course is an obligatory course for Computer Security and Cryptography Master Program.
The lecture is an online course in English.
There are 15 hours in total.
Current schedule:
lectures: it will start in the semester week 11 (after finishing the course of Dr Kubiak, which will be run intensively in the first 10 weeks of the semester)
exact time: will be the same as the lecture of Dr Kubiak (so any changes adapted will apply to this course, too)
Program of the course
the focus will be on "computing" (including in particular issues of communication protocols) and not on theoretical physics,
the state of the art and perspectives of using quantum devices are not fully clear, so we shall make efforts to stay
pragmatic and focus on reality (as far as it is possible today),
this is the first edition of this course,
a formal program is available
here (its contents is mainly formal and
determined by the university administration)
However, I expect substantial adjustments due to recent recommendations and available technologies.
Basic literature:
pdf-s from the lecture will be available
here at a due time , access with a password
to be given during the first lecture
the same page will contain a link or links to sibling courses
Goals:
The lecture has two goals:
learn some algorithmics related to quantum technology,
become open to new computing paradigms.
Prerequisites:
at least undergraduate cryptography course
