The seminar is devoted to anonymous credentials, restricted identification, privacy protection and related issues.
Apart from cryptographic schemes we are going to perform some work in the Common Criteria framework
for security evaluation.
Requirements:
presence.
a talk given on an assigned research adn development topic,
the talk must be given in English
the students are obliged to write in a collaborative way
a summary of all talks - a kind of survey. The summary should:
be in English,
contain a concise and clear summary of key ideas
presented during the seminar,
should contain about 20 pages, font size 10pt, A4 page format, LNCS style.
apart of this, the students should write protection profile for a simple
anonymous authentication scenario.
Goals:
training in giving oral presentations,
learning rules for preparing slides,
developing skills of extracting essential ideas from scientific papers,
learning how to write in a collaborative way high quality
text on difficult topics.
learn some skills for formal certification process.
The students are welcome to start their own R&D work during the seminar.
Discussions, critical evaluations, developing new ideas is
welcome!
Prerequisitives:
some knowledge on crypto, algorithms,
computer networks.
